Srinagar, Jun 06 (KNO): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the Muslim Ummah.
In his message issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mirwaiz said Eid-ul-Adha is a reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) devotion and sacrifice, teaching us that true qurbani lies in sincerity, taqwa, and selflessness—not just ritual.
He urged people to let this Eid renew their commitment to compassion, justice, and unity, and to serve those in need, especially the underprivileged.
